Off Season...
Just a heads-up folks! We are not going to be maintaining the CX course until fall. The current state of the course is TALL GRASS and it will most likely stay that way until CX season gets closer. We'll let you know when things are back on track. Thanks!

Still Cyclocrossing?
Well folks, it seems as though the CX season is over (race wise) here in KC. That doesn't mean you need to hang up your pretty skinny tire bike and not keep up with your riding and training. The Riverfront CX course is open for business and is in prime CX condition, slightly wet and muddy and ready for you to get your skills dialed-in on. While every other trail in KC is closed due to winter conditions, you should be out here riding and getting strong. Seriously.

Snowy Course Images...
A few images of the snow-covered course to get you psyched. Get out and ride folks! We expect a little more out of the die-hard KC locals. What better training than to suffer through 5 laps at the Riverfront in these conditions? Get some!

Snow Time...
WOW! We rode the course last night and it was in perfect CX conditions - a white path of enlightenment. Get out and ride while the snow is on the ground. Keep your skills honed (or gain new skills) for the last two area local races which can be found HERE. All the best and Happy New Year from the Riverfront CX crew!

Stay Psyched...
Photo of local JP Brocket racing at today's Boxing Day CX... hope this helps you stay psyched in the cold temps.
Get down to the Riverfront and ride! There are (still) races to train for!

Saturday Photos...
Here are a few pics from Saturday. We were out checking course conditions and there were at least five folks out enjoying the loop during our brief visit. If you're not getting your fair share of free, local CX training, mock racing, or just enjoying the solitude of Shawnee Riverfront Park - then you are indeed missing out. Come on out and ride!
